½ cup shortening 1 tsp soda & salt
1-1/2 cup brown sugar 2 cup flour
1 egg 2 cups cut up rhubarb
1 tsp vanilla 1 cup sour milk
Mix in order. Pour into greased 9×13 pan.
Mix ½ cup brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon and sprinkle over top of cake batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream.
