Heat Wave? Here’s Tips For Your Garden, Flowers and Containers

Watering FlowersIt’s been a bit warm around here with temperatures and heat index in the 100+ range.  Wondering how to care for your garden plants, flowers and containers?

Tip of the day:  Only water if soil is dry.

Wilting leaves are most likely heat related and they will come out of it.  Over watering would be more harmful.

When its scorching like these days, don’t forget to temporarily move pots and portable containers in shade if possible.

If you are going to be gone for a few days, put a saucer to hold water under the pot.  This will help keep your plants hydrated.

Enjoy the summer heat and keep your plants happy!
